2026 Browns fantasy preview: Biggest bargain, bust, and wild card

If the season started today, one Browns player would be their biggest fantasy bargain, another a likely bust, and a third a likely wild card.

This franchise has been mired in sub-mediocrity since making (as I shared at the time) the unnecessarily risky decision to mortgage its future for Deshaun Watson. There’s not much to love or even to like about investing in Cleveland’s offensive playmakers. In a vacuum? Sure. But based on anticipated ADP, it’s hard to assign a “bargain” label to any of them.

However, if I had to choose one, it would be Jerry Jeudy, last year’s WR68 in points per game. His ADP probably will be in the WR34-38 range if Cleveland’s QB situation seems secure, or it could be as low as 44-48. The caveat is that if Jeudy is inside the top 30, and if presumed #2 WR Cedric Tillman is outside the top 60, I’d be tempted to tag Tillman as the bigger bargain. But Jeudy is still somehow only 26 years old and can still be a weekly fantasy starter.

The Week 1 QB starter is looking like the biggest bust. Although we don’t yet know who that will be, Watson apparently has a legitimate shot. But that doesn’t mean he can keep the job, as this franchise will start preparing for 2027 by midseason, if not sooner. Whoever starts Week 1 will be a long shot to remain the starter through November.

Quinshon Judkins is the biggest wild card. So much talent, and so little to work with. He will get all he can handle, including in negative game scripts. But scoring opportunities and targets are question marks and are the keys to him exceeding ADP expectations.
