2026 four-star linebacker predicted for Tennessee commitment
Tennessee is recruiting toward another commitment for its 2026 football signing class.
Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong of On3 made predictions for four-star linebacker TJ White to commit to the Vols.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound prospect is from Jackson Academy in Jackson, Mississippi. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 7 linebacker in the class and the No. 5 player in Mississippi.
Tennessee is pursuing another Jackson Academy prospect in four-star defensive lineman Dereon Albert. Both prospects will make their commitment decisions on July 1.
Tennessee offered White a scholarship on Oct. 30, 2024. He unofficially visited for a practice on April 5 and officially visited on June 13.
The Vols have nine commitments in their 2026 football recruiting class: quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, linebacker Braylon Outlaw, defensive lineman C.J. Edwards, defensive lineman Zach Groves, safety K.J. McClain and safety Luke Thompson.
Linebacker JP Peace is Tennessee's first 2027 football commitment.
