2026 NFL draft: Jets host likely Day 2 WR pick on top-30 visit
The New York Jets are entering the 2026 NFL draft with a potential need at wide receiver. Garrett Wilson has led the line for years but needs help.
Could Louisville's Chris Bell be the answer? The Jets are wondering.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Bell has a pre-draft visit in New York:
#Louisville WR Chris Bell is at the #Jets on a Top 30 visit today, then he has #Colts and Combine Rechecks later in the week.
Bell had surgery for a torn ACL in December, and countless teams have had him in to check on his progress. He has #Raiders and #Cowboys after Indy. pic.twitter.com/nPlHy5zaRD— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 7, 2026
Bell, a 6-foot-2 wideout, is considered a potential Day 2 pick at the upcoming draft. He has the makeup of an outside X-receiver for an offense, which could match well with the versatile Wilson.
In Round 2, the Jets currently holds two selections at Nos. 33 and 44. That's where Bell is projected to be picked.
Before his injury, Bell recorded 72 catches for 917 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games last season.
