2026 NFL Draft: Two Bills Day 3 picks named possible rookie starters

The Buffalo Bills did the bulk of their work at the 2026 NFL Draft on Day 3.

Of the 10 selections the team made, eight came on the third day. Even so, the Bills earned praise for two of those value picks.

NFL.com named and ranked 16 picks made on Day 3 who could become starters as rookies despite not being selected earlier on. In terms of Buffalo, wide receiver Skyler Bell and safety Jalon Kilgore were highlighted.

Bell was ranked No. 8 on the list while Kilgore snuck in at No. 15.

NFL.com's breakdown on both Bell and Kilgore can be found below:

Wide receiver Skyler Bell

Drafted: Round 4, No. 125

At 5-foot-11 and 192 pounds, I believe Bell has the frame to play outside and inside. He wins with quickness on the boundary and is effective on all three levels. I’m expecting the Bills to find ways to get him onto the field alongside Khalil Shakir and DJ Moore at receiver.

Safety Jalon Kilgore

Drafted: Round 5, No. 167

C.J. Gardner-Johnson Jr. signed a one-year deal to shore up the Bills' secondary this offseason, but Kilgore's aggressive run defense and ability to find the ball in coverage could force Buffalo to play him more than expected in Year 1.
