7 Colts on first Week 7 injury report, including two wide receivers

The Indianapolis Colts released their first injury report of Week 7. Let's take a closer look at the practice status updates.

As head coach Shane Steichen said before practice, Kenny Moore (Achilles) did practice, while Charvarius Ward (concussion) was a non-participant.

This was Moore's first practice since suffering the Achilles injury in Week 3. He was a limited participant.

Wide receivers Josh Downs (concussion) and Ashton Dulin (chest) did not participate on Wednesday either.

Downs took a few big hits late in Sunday's game. Alec Pierce, Michael Pittman, Tyler Warren, and others have all lined up in the slot previously on plays. So if the Colts are without Downs, Steichen could go with the group effort approach inside.

But before we dive deeper into that potential conversation, we will have to see how the rest of the week unfolds first.

Tyler Goodson did not practice as he continues to work his way back from a groin injury. Goodson has missed the last two games. In Goodson's place, the Colts have elevated Ameer Abdullah from the practice squad.

Lastly, Braden Smith had a vet rest day.
