Alabama lands commitment from 2026 JUCO defensive back

For the second time this cycle, the Alabama Crimson Tide have added a JUCO prospect to their 2026 class.
On Sunday night, Alabama landed a commitment from Nick Sherman, a defensive back in the 2026 cycle. Sherman also signed with the Crimson Tide, bringing Alabama's class to 23 total commitments.
A native of Tuscaloosa who attended Northridge High School, Sherman is considered as a three-star recruit, per the 247Sports Composite JUCO rankings, and is rated as the nation's No. 67 overall junior college prospect. Sherman is also considered as the No. 8 junior college cornerback in the 2026 class, and attends Itawamba Community College in Mississippi.
Coming out of high school, Sherman was also unranked as a prospect, per 247Sports.
Sherman now joins three-star offensive lineman Tyrell Miller as Alabama's lone JUCO prospects in the 2026 class.
