Alabama stock report: Who shined in Saturday's impressive win vs. UL Monroe?

The Alabama Crimson Tide simply did what most expected them to do Saturday night in Tuscaloosa, rolling over the UL Monroe Warhawks by a final score of 73-0.

A dominant showing from the Crimson Tide, Alabama controlled this game from the very start, and eventually out-gained UL Monroe in total yardage a combined 583-148.

In what was a game full of positives for the Crimson Tide, if you had to pick a few players in particular who stood out from Alabama's victory over the rest as well, who would you go with?

Here is the latest stock report from Alabama's win over UL Monroe on Saturday night, which shows a look at three players in particular whose stock's are rising as a result of their performance in Week 2.

Ty Simpson, Quarterback, Redshirt Junior

Simpson was essentially perfect during Alabama's home win over UL Monroe, completing 17-of-17 pass attempts for 226 yards and three touchdowns. The redshirt junior, in his first home start, also rushed for three yards and a touchdown on two attempts, and finished with a QBR of 99.3.

Kevin Riley, Running Back, Redshirt Freshman

Riley had likely his most impressive game at Alabama on Saturday night, rushing for a team-high 11 carries which he turned into 69 yards, averaging 6.3 yards per attempt. The redshirt freshman also hauled in a team-high six catches for 45 yards.

Germie Bernard, Wide Receiver, Senior

Alabama's most impressive player from Week 1 at Florida State, Bernard carried over that success to UL Monroe by shining once again against the Warhawks. Bernard made the most of his three receptions against UL Monroe, going for 67 yards and two touchdowns, and as a result, has now equalled his receiving touchdown total from a year ago in only two games.
