Alabama's AP Poll ranking revealed following impressive rivalry win vs. Tennessee
After rising in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll earlier in the day, the AP Poll Top 25 ranking has been revealed for the Alabama Crimson Tide following a 37-20 home win over the Tennessee Volunteers.
Released on Sunday, Alabama rose two spots up to No. 4 overall following a win over Tennessee, with the Vols as a result dropping six spots to No. 17. The Crimson Tide trail only Ohio State, Indiana, and Texas A&M, in that order.
In what was Alabama's fourth consecutive win over a ranked opponent in as many weeks, the Crimson Tide used big performances from the likes of Ty Simpson, Yhonzae Pierre, and Zabien Brown to move to 5-1 overall on the season, while also remaining undefeated at 3-0 overall in SEC action.
Alabama's next game will come this upcoming Saturday, Oct. 25 on the road at South Carolina. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
