Alabama's AP Poll ranking revealed following loss vs. Tennessee

Following a weekend loss to one of their biggest rivals, the Alabama Crimson Tide have dropped in the latest men's college basketball AP Poll Top 25.

Released on Monday, Alabama came in ranked at No. 23 in the latest AP Poll, dropping six spots from their previous ranking of No. 17 after a Saturday night loss to Tennessee.

On Saturday night, the Crimson Tide and Volunteers met inside of Coleman Coliseum, a game which Tennessee won their fifth-straight over Alabama, 79-73. As a result, the Crimson Tide fell to 13-6 overall (3-3 SEC) this season.

The Crimson Tide will be back in action this week for a pair of SEC games, the first of which comes Tuesday night at home against unranked Missouri at 8 p.m. ET on SEC Network. Alabama will also travel to face defending national champion Florida, who is ranked at No. 19 in the latest AP Poll, on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on ABC.
