All royal blue throwback jersey dates announced by Seahawks

Over the weekend the Seattle Seahawks announced which games during this upcoming season will mark the return of their beloved royal blue throwback uniforms. The team already announced these special alternate threads would make their 2025 debut in Week 5 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers - who will also be wearing their all-white throwback uniform, making it a dual throwback game for both teams.

Now we know what other weeks the Seahawks will be donning the royal blues, and it turns out the home showdown against Tampa won't be the only double throwback game Seattle will participate in this year. According to the Seahawks' own Twitter account, here is the full slate of games that will feature the team's classic look:

• Week 5 - home vs Buccaneers (10/5/2025)
• Week 9 - at Commanders on Sunday Night Football (11/2/25)
• Week 13 - home vs Vikings (11/30/2025)

The Washington Commanders also unveiled a white throwback jersey, which they will be wearing during the SNF clash against the Seahawks.

Seattle is now able to wear their throwback uniform three times this year due to a change in the NFL's uniform policy. Under the old policy, teams were only allowed to wear throwback/alternate uniforms up to three times in a season. The Seahawks opted to wear their throwbacks twice in 2024, and their Action Green alternates once. Now the policy allows the usage of throwbacks and/or alternates up to four times, and it's clear Seattle is taking this opportunity to wear the royal blues in an extra game.

However, with the Commanders opting to wear white at home and with the other two games with throwbacks being at home, this likely sinks the rumors of the Seahawks revealing their own road white throwback alternate.
