Andover's Conte catching on with Harwich

Andover’s Matt Conte, coming off a solid freshman season at Wake Forest, has settled in as a catcher with the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
Conte has started five of eight games behind the plate and is batting .250 for the Mariners with a double and two RBIs.
The former Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year hit .294 with five homers and 15 RBIs in 27 games for the Demon Deacons this spring.
