All eyes were on a matchup between the Chicago Sky and Los Angeles Sparks as Angel Reese and company looked to snap a three-game losing streak.
Despite a rough start to the season, it was a successful outing for Chicago. They wound up defeating the Sparks, who stood one game ahead of the Sky in the WNBA standings, 97-86.
Reese had a great performance against the Sparks, finishing the game with 18 points, 17 rebounds and six assists.
During the game, Reese received a new nickname from the Chicago Sky for a play she made in the second quarter.
"Assist Barbie," posted the official social media account of the Chicago Sky.
Reese found a cutting Ariel Atkins after playing with her back to the basket in the post for the Sky, sparking the nickname from the Sky.

Angel Reese previously earned the "Barbie" nickname during her college career with the LSU Tigers. Reese played her final two seasons at the collegiate level at LSU, earning the nickname, "Bayou Barbie."
After Reese was drafted by the Chicago Sky, she received the nickname "Chi Barbie."
Now, after her moves in a recent game against the Los Angeles Sparks, Reese has added another nickname to the arsenal.
In her second season with the Chicago Sky, Angel Reese has posted 10.8 points, 11.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
She continues to produce at a high level on the glass and in the scoring column, having previously established herself as one of the best rebounders in the WNBA.
