Bayern Munich vs PSG – Predicted lineup and team news

Bayern Munich host PSG at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night in a crucial UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg.

After an explosive first leg in Paris — the highest-scoring semi-final in UCL history — Vincent Kompany’s side trail by one goal and will aim to turn things around in front of their home fans.

Bayern have been outstanding in attack this season, already sealing their 35th Bundesliga title with 116 goals in 32 matches.

However, their defence remains a concern. They’ve conceded 16 goals in their last six games, including a 3-3 draw with Heidenheim at the weekend, where several key players were rested. Despite the 5-4 defeat in the first leg, Bayern will take confidence from their home form, having scored three or more goals in eight of their last nine matches at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich team news

In terms of team news, Serge Gnabry is the only confirmed absentee due to a thigh injury. There is some good news though, as youngster Lennart Karl and midfielder Tom Bischof are both back in the squad, along with Raphael Guerreiro.

Kompany is expected to stick with his attacking 4-2-3-1 formation. After rotating his squad in the last league match, he should return to his strongest lineup, with Harry Kane leading the attack. Jamal Musiala, Michael Olise, and Luis Diaz are likely to provide the creativity as Bayern push to overturn the deficit.

At the back, Dayot Upamecano and Jonathan Tah will need to improve after conceding five goals in the first leg.
