🚨 Bayern Munich youth players star in win over Grasshoppers

Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Inter were all in action across Tuesday's club friendlies.

Bayern Munich edged Grasshoppers Zurich to a 2-1 victory to cap pre-season. 

17-year-old starlet Lennart Karl produced a moment of quality on the 20-minute mark to give his side the lead, firing an unstoppable, dipping effort into the net from 25 yards out. 

Another Bayern academy graduate, Jonah Kusi-Asare, added a second just five minutes later, latching onto Karl's through ball and lashing into the top corner. 

The Bundesliga side couldn't extend their lead before the break and Grasshoppers pulled a goal back shortly after half time through Loris Giandomenico's fierce first-time volley from a tight angle. 

Vincent Kompany made seven changes on the hour mark and two substitutes almost combined for a third when Dayot Upamecano's hooked volley from Joshua Kimmich's cross hit the crossbar.

Although Bayern couldn't find a third, they remained on top and saw out a comfortable win to end pre-season with two victories ahead of their season opener in the Supercup against Stuttgart.
