Tyson Fury and Arslanbek Makhmudov held a press conference Thursday ahead of their Saturday heavyweight boxing showdown. Afterward, Fury and Makhmudov engaged in their first faceoff of fight week. At first, things looked intense and serious. Then it turned into a bit of fun when Makhmudov bear-hugged Fury and lifted him off the ground.

Fury vs. Makhmudov headlines a Netflix live-streamed event that takes place Saturday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. It marks the return of former two-time heavyweight world champion Fury, who is coming out of retirement once again.

Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs), 37, last competed in Dec. 21, 2024, when he dropped a unanimous decision to Oleksandy Usyk, his second consecutive defeat to Usyk. Makhmudov (21-2, 19 KOs), 36, will enter on a two-fight winning streak after defeating Ricardo Brown and David Allen last year.
