Bengals hint at possible NFL draft trade plans
The Cincinnati Bengals have plenty of options going into the 2025 NFL draft, both in how and what they target with each of the six picks, and in how they move around the order and make trades with other teams.
Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin touched on that Monday as team spring activities got underway, with the highlight quote coming from WLWT's Charlie Clifford.
"We have six picks in the draft, and we would like to have a few more," Tobin said. "We’ll see if we can make that happen."

The Bengals aren't strangers to moving around the draft order and acquiring more assets in the process. But trading down in this particular draft, especially in the first round, could prove tricky, given the depth of the class and the general reporting about whether trades will happen.
Still, the Bengals could use more picks this year to boost the general depth of problem areas. The more picks, the better for new defensive coordinator Al Golden as the unit reshapes to more of his vision for its direction. That, and problem areas last year like running back, which resulted in a rare in-season trade when the injury bug hit.
If nothing else, the Bengals are open for business in this area, as expected. But fans should expect very small moves, just like the seventh-round pick involved in that running back trade at last season's trade deadline.
