Bengals just keep lining up visits with NFL draft's best RBs

The Cincinnati Bengals sure feel like a team headed for a Joe Mixon-like decision in the 2025 NFL draft.

At first, Cincinnati meeting with top-10 overall prospect Ashton Jeanty felt like the team simply covering all its bases.

But the Bengals followed that up by meeting with Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins. Now, word is that the Bengals will also meet with Ohio State's TreVeyon Henderson, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

Granted, some of these guys are "local" and that's to be expected. But between all of the draft events and reports yet to come to light, among other factors, the Bengals are putting in a lot of work at the position.

Henderson is especially unsurprising. Sure, he just ran for 1,016 yards and 10 scores on a 7.1 per-carry average last year. But he's a fantastic pass-blocker for the quarterback, something the Bengals desperately want—hence bringing back Samaje Perine in free agency.

None of this is shocking when thinking about last season. While Chase Brown broke out, Zack Moss suffered a neck injury that remains a question mark right now. Things were so bad at the position that the team did a super rare in-season trade for Khalil Herbert and later added another back to the practice squad.

Back in 2017, the Bengals shocked some by taking Joe Mixon in the second round just inside the top 50. At this point, Cincinnati doing the same thing to get Chase Brown some rotational help at No. 49 wouldn't be much of a shock at all.
