Gina Carano is putting her acting career on hold. She will return to the Octagon as a Mixed Martial Artist to face Ronda Rousey in a bout between legends on May 16. The event will be showcased on Netflix and will take place at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Carano has not been in a fight for a long time, with here in-ring career stopping in 2009. That matters not as she carries a huge rep and 7-1 record into this battle. “I believe I will walk out of this fight with the win and I anticipate it will not come easy, which I welcome," Carano said. "This is as much for Ronda and me as it is for the fans and mixed martial arts community. What a time to be alive.”
