Biggest lesson from Ohio State could do wonders for Patriots rookie RB
New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson was a key part of the Ohio State Buckeyes' national championship team last season.
He learned a big lesson from his time with the program splitting reps with Quinshon Judkins, who was drafted in the second round by the Cleveland Browns. Judkins racked up 1,060 yards and 14 touchdowns, while Henderson closed out his collegiate run with 1,016 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
Together, both running backs split time and added to a lethal Ohio State offense that caught fire late in the year and never looked back.
"I learned how to be unselfish," said Henderson. "I learned how to put the team over my individual goals and what I wanted to accomplish. That's the biggest thing coming here. I just want to give it everything that I got to really help this team however I can."

Henderson could move up the depth chart quickly as one of the top-two running backs on the roster. He's an explosive rusher with the ability to catch passes out of the offensive backfield. He is also one of the best pass-blocking running backs to come out of college in years.
The Patriots now have a legitimate triple-threat option to scare opposing defenses.
