Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Connor McGovern did his role for the crosstown hockey team this week.
On Thursday, McGovern was in downtown Buffalo rooting on the city's hockey team as the Sabres took on the Columbus Blue Jackets. McGovern led the Sabres' charge but banging the drum to get fans going before the opening faceoff.
It must have helped as the Sabres took a 5-0 win over the Blue Jackets at KeyBank Center.
