Boston Celtics avenge early-season loss to Utah Jazz, win 129-119 on the road (PHOTOS)
The Boston Celtics beat the Utah Jazz 129-119 on the road to avenge a loss to the Jazz at TD Garden early in November near the start of the Celtics 2025-26 NBA regular season schedule. That Boston managed to do so while connecting on just 30% of their shots from beyond the arc is all the more impressive, especially considering that Utah was hitting 38% of their attempts from deep.
The Celtics won the battle of the boards 44-40, and picked the Jazz' collective pockets 8 times to Utah's 4, helping to create additional possessions in a tilt that saw Boston take a total of 94 shots to the Jazz' 87. With the win, the Celtics improve to 20-12 on the season so far, holding off a surging Toronto Raptors to continue to cement their hold on third place in the Eastern Conference standings.
Let's take a look at some of the best plays captured in images from the win.
