Boston Celtics draft prospects: Kameron Jones highlights

The first round of the 2025 NBA draft is one day away. The Boston Celtics hold the 28th and 32nd picks and will likely be looking for players capable of fighting for minutes off the end of the bench. Brad Stevens has already traded Jrue Holiday, as he attempts to get the team under the second luxury tax apron; therefore, whoever the Celtics draft could have an opportunity to stake their claim for a role.

Boston needs depth at every position. And, following the decision to trade away Holiday and the team option on JD Davison's contract, Kameron Jones could be a potential draft target. Jones is a four-year prospect out of Marquette. He's 6-foot-4 and plays the guard position, where he thrived this past season, averaging 19.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists on 48.3% shooting from the field.

Jones' skill set would ensure he has an opportunity to fight for a spot on the end of the Celtics' bench. Of course, they could also look to develop him in the G League with the Maine Celtics. If you're not familiar with Jones' game, NBC Sports Boston recently released a highlight video showcasing what he could bring to Boston's rotation.
