Batesville

The Bulldogs were edged by the Golden Bears of Shelbyville 2-1.

The Bulldogs trailed 1-0 in the first half after a shot deflected off a defender and into the goal. However, the Bulldogs quickly answered back with a goal from Ronan Post, who received a free kick from Mathias Davalos and found the bottom corner of the net to tie the game before halftime.

In the second half, a long ball from Shelbyville was not cleared by the Batesville defense, leading to a shot that found the far corner and secured the Golden Bears’ 2-1 victory.
