Broncos' updated order of 2026 NFL draft picks after Devaughn Vele trade

After agreeing to trade wide receiver Devaughn Vele to the New Orleans Saints, the Denver Broncos now hold seven picks in the 2026 NFL draft (and a few more comp picks could be on the way).

The Broncos acquired a 2026 fourth-round pick and a 2027 seventh-round pick from the Saints in exchange for Vele. In addition to that extra fourth-round selection next year, Denver also holds all but one of its original picks for 2026.

The Broncos lost their original sixth-round pick when the team acquired defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers in a trade with the New York Jets in 2024. Here's a look at the team's current order of picks after the Vele trade.

Broncos 2026 NFL draft order of picks

  • Round 1: Own pick
  • Round 2: Own pick
  • Round 3: Own pick
  • Round 4: Saints pick (Devaughn Vele trade)
  • Round 4: Own pick
  • Round 5: Own pick
  • Round 7: Own pick

Denver will also be a candidate to receive late-round compensatory draft picks in 2026, but that won't be finalized until next year. Next year's NFL draft will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.
