Browns lose special teams ace in final minutes of Ravens game

Cleveland Browns special teams starter Dom Jones exited the game against the Baltimore Ravens with a leg injury.

Jones lay on the ground before the training staff assisted him to the medical tent. Jones, an undrafted free agent, has been a major part of the Browns' recent special teams success. Jones is a hard-hitting cornerback with prototypical length for the position. The Colorado State product is a productive gunner who turns his traits into tackles. Jones is an effective gunner. The Browns will need Jones back for the rest of the season. There isn't much time in the Ravens game for special teams to be a necessity.

The Browns are trailing the Ravens 16-23 in the final minutes of the game. The Browns' offense will either leave the field as winners or losers. The Browns have let the Ravens back into the game. The Browns need all the help they can get to beat the Ravens.
