BTN analyst shares practice update on Michigan State football TE Jack Velling

Michigan State football is relying heavily on senior tight end Jack Velling to step into a bigger role, a role that was expected of him after his transfer from Oregon State, if the Spartans offense is going to have success in 2025.

Recently, Velling was named to the Panini Senior Bowl's top 300 list on Thursday, but in order to live up to the hype, he was going to have to get over an injury he had suffered earlier in camp.

Well, good news for Spartan fans, the senior tight end looked to be in much better form when the Big Ten Network crew came to campus for practice on Thursday.

In a clip shared by BTN's Dave Revsine, Velling was moving well, and the analyst shared that the senior tight end had been looking good all throughout practice. He even mentioned that former Michigan tight end Jake Butt loves the Spartan tight end.
