Christian Barmore to be monitored in Denver due to blood clots
FOXBOROUGH — New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel was asked a very important question on Sunday regarding the status of defensive tackle Christian Barmore.
Specifically, it involves Barmore's health concerns after he was diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs during the summer of 2024. He returned during the season for four games, but was sidelined once again due to recurring symptoms.
However, this season, Barmore has played in every single game. But, due to the high altitude in Denver, there could be some concern that the blood clots could return.
Vrabel was asked if Barmore will have limitations in the AFC Championship Game.
“No,” he replied. "Certainly something to monitor. There are some players we’ll have to monitor for one reason or another, but I don’t see any limitations for Christian.”
