Colts' QB Daniel Jones weighs in on being in MVP conversation

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones has been one of the most productive at his position this season. He has also led the Colts to a 5-1 start and they are currently the top seed in the AFC.

So naturally, Jones' name is popping up in the early-season MVP conversations. But what does Jones think about that?

"Not much after six weeks," Jones said. "We got a long way to go and like I've said, I really enjoy playing with these guys and I think we've got a lot of talented players across the board."

On the year, Jones has completed 71.7% of his passes for 1,502 yards with eight touchdowns to three interceptions. He's also rushed for four touchdowns as well.

Compared to the rest of his position group league-wide, Jones is third in completion rate, seventh in yards, and fifth in yards per attempt, according to PFF.

Contributing to Jones' high level of play is his day-to-day preparation.

"He's just all over it," Shane Steichen said, via Colts.com. "That's the preparation, and that's what you want at that position."
