Commanders QB Jayden Daniels out vs. New York Giants in Week 15
For those who were hoping to see a Jaxson Dart-Jayden Daniels showdown in this Sunday's New York Giants-Washington Commanders game at MetLife Stadium, you'll have to wait until next season.
Daniels has been ruled out for this week's game after re-injuring his left elbow in the Commanders' 31-0 loss to the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday.

Commanders head coach Dan Quinn informed the media of Daniels' status on Wednesday.
Daniels returned to the lineup last week after missing three games with an injury to his non-throwing elbow. He reinjured the elbow on Sunday and was forced from the game.
Quinn did not say the 3-10 Commanders were ready just yet to shut Daniels down for the season.
Dan Quinn again says Washington hasnt gone down the possibility of shutting down Jayden Daniels: "As far as what decisions are ahead, we havent gone down that road...He's working really hard to get back with the guys."— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) December 10, 2025
Daniels, the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2024, beat the Giants twice last season and in Week 1 this year. Marcus Mariota will get the start on Sunday.
