Commanders' Super Bowl odds increased after strong offseason

Washington Commanders general manager Adam Peters has worked his tail off to turn the organization around. In 2024, the team's season was unexpected. It was also a welcome change from decades of poor play and poor organizational management. His efforts during the 2024 offseason paid off, and all indications are that his efforts during the 2025 offseason will be just as fruitful.

Last season, Peters was focused on fixing what he could now. So he signed veterans to short-term deals and drafted as well as he could. The result was far better than anyone anticipated, and although that cost was felt during this year's draft, Peters hasn't stopped ensuring the pieces the Commanders need are in place. Previously, Bucky Brooks named the Commanders as one of five teams that won the offseason. CBS Sports agrees, saying the Commanders had the fifth-best offseason.

Of the teams on this list, only the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills have higher odds of winning the Super Bowl.
