Connecticut Sun finalize training camp roster headlined by Tina Charles

The Connecticut Sun announced their finalized training camp roster Friday, releasing the list of 21 players who will report to Uncasville for April 27.
The list is led by Tina Charles, a former No. 1 WNBA draft pick and eight-time WNBA All-Star who returns to the Sun after playing four seasons with the team to start her career. It also includes five players from the 2024 and 2025 WNBA Drafts who will make their training camp debuts.

After an offseason with plenty of movement, the Sun have just one player on the 2025 training camp roster who participated in the team’s 2024 training camp — Olivia Nelson-Ododa.
Caitlin Bickle, Marina Mabrey and Nelson-Ododa are the only returning players from last year’s regular-season roster to participate in the Sun’s 2025 training camp.

- Marina Mabrey — Guard (Notre Dame)
- Morgan Maly — Guard/Forward (Creighton)
- Rayah Marshall — Forward (Southern California)
- Aneesah Morrow — Forward (LSU)
- Olivia Nelson-Ododa — Center (Connecticut)

The Sun play a pair of preseason games on May 4 and May 9 when they travel to the Seattle Storm and the New York Liberty, respectively.
They will open their season at home on May 18 at 1 p.m. when they host the Washington Mystics.
