The Dallas Cowboys still have a chance.

Maxx Crosby appeared to be off the market when the Las Vegas Raiders agreed to trade him over the weekend to the Baltimore Ravens. But not so fast.

That deal couldn't become official until the new league year on Wednesday. And on Tuesday night, the Ravens backed out of the trade, seemingly for medical reasons.

Maybe that'll make it a tough sell for another team going after Crosby.

Or maybe it'll lower his price just enough to make trading for him worth it.

Reports had indicated the Cowboys didn't want to trade two first-round picks for Crosby, and that's what the Ravens agreed to.

The price could be lower now. Maybe the best offer will now belong to Dallas.

Would the Cowboys take the risk given that Crosby has undergone recent knee surgery? Maybe.

SI's Albert Breer had reported the Cowboys' interest in Crosby after the NFL Combine. He'd be the ideal replacement for Micah Parsons, if Crosby is healthy.

Dallas has some work to do against the salary cap already, so this wouldn't be easy. But it'd be possible.

It was impossible for the Cowboys to get him if he did indeed move to the Ravens (well not impossible, but not going to happen).

Now, it's possible again. The Cowboys still have a chance. And this saga is going to get really interesting.
