Current LSU commit to reportedly make final decision between Tigers, Alabama
According to a report from On3's Hayes Fawcett, the Alabama Crimson Tide could be emerging in the recruitment of current LSU Tigers commit Kenny Darby.
Per the report, Darby, a long-time LSU commit, will now be making a final decision surrounding his recruitment July 4 where he will choose between the Tigers and Alabama.
Darby was one-of-multiple prominent prospects who took an official visit to Alabama this weekend, and will also be taking one to LSU on June 21, per the report.
Darby is currently considered as the nation's No. 155 overall player in the 2026 class according to the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings, as well as the No. 23 wide receiver nationally. A four-star prospect, Darby is also an in-state prospect for the Tigers who is ranked the No. 7 player in the state of Louisiana out of Airline High School.
The four-star wide receiver is currently a LSU commit, one who has been committed to the Tigers since Nov. 2024.
