Davante Adams is entering his 12th season in the NFL, which will also be his first as a member of the Los Angeles Rams. After losing for three years in Las Vegas and New York, Adams is ready to win again back home in California.

Signing with the Rams has rejuvenated his career and provided a new spark at the age of 32, which is exciting for not only him individually but for the rest of the team. It’s led to a lot of work and dedication this offseason, training often with Matthew Stafford since joining the Rams.

During an interview on the “Dan Patrick Show” Wednesday, Adams said he’s gotten in “quite a bit” of work with Stafford, putting together a “really productive offseason.” Adams even says he’s probably worked as hard as he ever has.

“Quite a bit. We got right to it. Had a really productive offseason,” he said. “I’ve worked probably some of the hardest I’ve worked, just feeling really rejuvenated and ready to go win some games.”

As for how Stafford has looked, Adams has been impressed. He says No. 9 looks just as he did 17 years ago when he was a gunslinging rookie out of college.

“He looks amazing. He looks just like the Matthew Stafford we all fell in love with 17 years ago when he came in doing his thing, so I'm having a lot of fun,” Adams added.

The combination of Adams and Stafford is one that should yield great results for Los Angeles, especially with Puka Nacua lined up at wide receiver, too. That trio could be in for a big year if they all stay healthy, potentially bringing Adams back to his Pro Bowl days when he was putting defensive backs on skates and scoring double-digit touchdowns every year.
