NEW DELHI: Chennai Super Kings’ current stars and former legends came together under one roof during an event hosted by the five-time champions at Chepauk. From exhibition matches and cracking jokes to nostalgia-filled moments, recalling memories, juniors picking up tips from seniors, big hits, playful teasing, and loud cheers from fans - it was all on display ahead of CSK’s IPL 2026 opener.
Amid all the fun, former CSK batter Murali Vijay made a video call to ex-allrounder Dwayne Bravo, with MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina also joining in for a chat.
Vijay initiated the call and then panned the phone camera towards Dhoni.
Bravo to Dhoni: "my brother, the BOSS"
Dhoni: "I don't like you"
The camera then shifted towards Raina.
Bravo: "The two big boys (Dhoni and Raina). There we go.. Cheers"
Raina: "Korbo, lorbo, jeetbo".
Everyone burst into laughter.
CSK have won the IPL title five times — 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021, and 2023.
They will begin their IPL 2026 campaign against Rajasthan Royals on March 30 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium.
