It’s been a roller-coaster offseason for Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders, and with the season roughly a month away, Monday is shaping up to be a pivotal day in Boulder.

Sanders is set to hold a press conference alongside his medical team to address the health issues that have kept him away from the team for much of the spring and summer.

While he's dealt with health complications in the past, Sanders has kept much of his situation under wraps in recent months. He declined to answer questions about his condition during last week’s Big 12 Media Day, despite making an appearance.

Now, with Monday’s press conference expected to provide clarity, an emotional video resurfaced late Sunday night via "Complex Sports." The clip—originally filmed back in May—shows Sanders candidly reflecting on his health and revealing that he had to create a will for himself.

“I don’t know if I’m ready—mentally or emotionally,” Sanders said. “Last night was tough. Yesterday was tough. I had to make a will. That’s not easy at all—thinking you might not be here, but you want to make sure everybody’s straight.”

Deion Sanders is preparing to enter his third season at the helm of the Colorado football program, and while the hope remains that he’ll continue leading the team, his health is the top priority.

On Monday morning, Sanders—true to form—shared an encouraging message on social media, appearing to be in good spirits.

"Let's learn to LOVE like we may not get another opportunity to do so provided we choose the right people to LOVE!" Sanders wrote. "Love is so special it's so unique & so real. God is LOVE & his LOVE is unconditional. Let's stop judging, stop hating & Let LOVE have its way! #CoachPrime"
