ESPN’s Ryan Clark rips Cam Newton ‘loyalty’ for Jason Whitlock interview

Cam Newton’s interview with sports media personality Jason Whitlock hasn’t exactly gone down well with people he works with at ESPN.

After Whitlock took the time to blast Stephen A. Smith during his appearance on Newton’s 4^th& 1 podcast, the “First Take” host replied by going after Whitlock in a video posted on Smith’s YouTube channel.

Another colleague of Newton’s at ESPN has now also voiced his displeasure towards the former Carolina Panthers star.

Ryan Clark expresses his disappointment in Newton

Ryan Clark has come out with a post on social media where he expressed his feelings about Whitlock being a guest on Newton’s podcast.

“If someone shows you love, has you on “their” show twice a week… at least. You don’t bring his known enemy on your show and allow your guest to talk [poop emoji] about person,” Clark wrote.

“That’s not G at all. Loyalty is at a minimum these days.”

Even though Clark didn’t specifically mention the 2015 NFL MVP by name in his social media post, it appears that Newton’s interview with Whitlock has left the former Pittsburgh Steeler with a sour taste in his mouth.

And it seems as though that Clark may be feeling rather let down by Newton’s choice of guest for his podcast.

As for Newton, it looks like he has some explaining to do with his ESPN co-workers.
