Falcons head coach gives update on Drake London's status vs. Bucs
Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris met with the media on Monday and provided some updates on wide receiver Drake London, defensive lineman Brandon Dorlus and rookie edge rusher Jalon Walker. London has missed the last three games due to a knee injury he sustained in Week 11.
The fourth-year wide receiver was having a great season before suffering a PCL sprain. Over nine games, London has recorded 60 receptions for 810 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Morris sounded somewhat optimistic of London returning in Week 15.
"Drake is still day-to-day," Morris told reporters. "We'll get a feel there. I would say Dorlus is day-to-day as well. Feeling good about Dorlus."
The second-year Falcons defensive lineman is tied for the team lead with six sacks entering Week 15. As for Walker, Morris said he was hopeful that the first-round pick would be back in time for Thursday's road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
"It was a bruise," said Morris of Walker's injury. "Looking forward to him playing this week."
