Falcons make change at kicker entering Week 10 game vs. Colts

The Atlanta Falcons have made a change at kicker following Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots. The team has signed veteran Zane Gonzalez and waived Parker Romo from the 53-man roster, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported Tuesday.

Romo missed an extra point in the team's 24-23 loss to the Patriots. Since replacing Younghoe Koo in Week 2, Romo had gone 11 of 14 on field goal attempts and converted 12 of 13 extra points. His lone missed extra point was costly, though.

Gonzalez has appeared in 69 games, going 96 for 120 on field goal attempts, and made 146 of 153 extra points. The 30-year-old last played in six games for the Washington Commanders in 2024.
