The Charlotte Hornets broke another franchise record in last night's victory against the Indiana Pacers with their ninth consecutive road victory.

The win makes three in a row for the Hornets after dropping two straight coming out of the All-Star break.

Additionally, rookie phenom Kon Knueppel broke an NBA record of his own, becoming the new leader for three-pointers made in a rookie season. Knueppel passed Keegan Murray of the Sacramento Kings, but still has 22 games remaining to extend his lead on the competition.

He's now hit five or more three-pointers in three of his last four games, averaging over 27 points per game on 54% shooting from three-point range during that span.

Following the game, Knueppel's current teammate and former NBA Champion Pat Connaughton spoke about his incredible consistency from the three-point line.

"He shoots the same shot no matter when or where it is. Doesn't matter, first shot of the game, last shot of the game, he's gonna shoot the same shot every single time. It's one of the more impressive things I've seen."

That's certainly high praise from the former Notre Dame forward who once shot over 50% from three-point range in the 2016-17 season with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Now, with the record under his belt, Knueppel and the Hornets will hope to continue stacking wins in order to position themselves better in the Eastern Conference.

Currently 10th, Charlotte trails eighth place (Miami) by just two games.

The Hornets will have Friday off before returning to action Saturday at home against the Blazers.
