The 2022 first-round pick drafted with a selection acquired in the A.J. Brown trade had an injury-filled career with the Titans, including a broken collarbone early in the 2025 preseason that triggered the team to waive him with an injury designation that placed him on injured reserve. The Titans released him from IR earlier this month.
Burks joins the Commanders practice squad as the Washington active roster battles through several injuries in the receivers room.
Terry McLaurin, who missed last week's win at Chicago, and Deebo Samuel did not practice on Oct. 16. Noah Brown is also on IR.
