FSU Seminoles among top schools for intriguing cornerback target
The Florida State Seminoles recently landed a commitment from three-star cornerback Dayon Cooper, and now they are looking to add a second to their 2027 recruiting class. They received some good news on Friday as three-star target Trenton Blaylock named them one of his top eight schools, according to Riley Alberts of 247Sports.
Blaylock is also considering the TCU Horned Frogs, LSU Tigers, Tennessee Volunteers, Oklahoma Sooners, Vanderbilt Commodores, and Alabama Crimson Tide. He is from Humble, Texas.
The Seminoles hosted Blaylock on a visit last week, giving him a chance to see their second scrimmage of spring practice. That was his first time visiting Tallahassee, and they need to get an official visit scheduled with him. He already has official visits scheduled with Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Blaylock is ranked as the No. 539 overall player and No. 58 cornerback in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 74 player from Texas.
