Game #152 GameThread: Jays @ Rays

My WiFi has been in and out this afternoon so if it is working for a moment, I’m posting.

It feels strange to have won two games in a row in Tampa.

I finally looked through the predictions for the Trey Yesavage start. Several of you were very close, but I’ve picked out two winners.

• Wayler said 5 innings, 3 hits, 7 strikeouts, 1 earned and 1 walk. Just off by 1 walk and 2 strikeouts.
• Citizen928 said 5 innings, 3 hits, 10 strikeouts, 2 earned and 3 walks. Just off by 1 walk, 1 strikeout and 1 earned.

So I owe you two a beer or something at some point. Amazing predictions.

Kevin Gausman is on a great stretch of starts, but the weird thing is that he, in his last five starts, has gone 5, 6, 7 8 and, in his last start, 9 innings. So he’s going to have to win this one in 10 innings. He has a 2.06 ERA in those five starts.

Today’s lineup, Schneider is playing second base. Vlad DHes, Springer plays left. And IKF plays. No Gimenez.
