After Pedro Neto then became the latest player to get sent off for Chelsea, Rosenior also spoke about his team’s big problem with discipline, which continues to haunt them.

Sarr did well

Sarr was thrown in for his first Premier League start since being recalled from his loan at Strasbourg, and it was a pretty tough fixture to be put in for. But he held his own and Neville believes he did well despite being on the losing side last night.

As cited on X, Neville said:

“Mamadou Sarr has done well. It’s a tough game for you to come into as your Premier League debut. I think he can hold his head high tonight.”

Chelsea now in 6th

The Blues have now dropped out of those crucial Champions League places after this defeat and others around them win. They have a tough run of games to see through until the end of the season, so this will be seen as worrying signs right now.
