Georgia Bulldogs basketball transfer portal tracker after latest commitments

The Georgia Bulldogs basketball team has added four players via the NCAA transfer portal since March Madness. Georgia basketball, which returned to the NCAA Tournament in a decade this season, has lost a lot of talent to both the transfer portal and the 2025 NBA draft (forward Asa Newell, who was Georgia's leading scorer).

Georgia coach Mike White faces a big challenge in replenishing the UGA roster with talent. The Bulldogs have lost four players to the transfer portal including three players that factored into Georgia's rotation.

The Bulldogs have brought in three transfers including the ACC sixth man of the year. Georgia is still looking to add more players via the portal. Two of Georgia's incoming transfers have NCAA Tournament experience.

Incoming Georgia basketball transfers

California Golden Bears guard Jeremiah Wilkinson dunks

California Golden Bears guard Jeremiah Wilkinson was the ACC's sixth man of the year. He averaged 15.1 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.8 steals per game last season with California. He should be one of Georgia's leading scorers this year.

BYU Cougars forward Kanon Catchings helped the Cougars make the NCAA Tournament last season and averaged 7.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Catchings provides length and shooting for UGA.

Wofford Terriers guard Justin Bailey committed to Georgia. He averaged 9.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists per games last season with Wofford, who made the NCAA Tournament as a No. 15 seed.

Georgia Bulldogs guard Silas Demary Jr. dribbles against the Gonzaga Bulldogs

Sophomore guard Silas Demary Jr. has committed to the UConn Huskies. Demary Jr. averaged 13.5 points, 3.1 assists and 31.5 minutes per game with Georgia in 2024-2025 and is UGA's biggest transfer portal lost.

Junior forward RJ Godfrey has committed to Clemson Tigers after spending one season at Georgia. Godfrey, who began his college basketball career at Clemson, averaged 6.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 19.5 minutes per game with Georgia last season. He was a good defender.

Sophomore guard De'Shayne Montgomery has committed to the Dayton Flyers. Montgomery averaged 6.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 15.7 minutes per game with Georgia in 2024-2025, but flashed a lot of potential. However, Montgomery was academically ineligible for a portion of the year.

Freshman guard Savo Drezgic remains in the transfer portal. Drezgic averaged 2.9 points, 1.1 rebounds and 6.8 minutes per game in his lone year at UGA.
