Georgia running back named as ESPN's 'sleeper player'

Georgia Bulldogs reshman running back Bo Walker is one of the most intriguing members of Georgia's backfield. ESPN believes so as well, listing Walker as Georgia's "sleeper player" when listing one from every top 25 team.

ESPN highlighted Walker's stellar performance in Georgia's spring practice. His bruising style of running and his speed make him a unique running back in Georgia's backfield. He stands at 5-foot-9 and weighs 210 pounds, and that combination makes him extremely difficult to tackle high and low. He used the combination to rack up over 4,000 rushing yards in his high school career, including 2,000 yards in his most productive season.

However, Walker was nowhere near the crown jewel of Georgia's recruiting class. The former three-star recruit was Georgia's only running back prospect from the class of 2025 after four-star recruit Ousmane Kromah flipped to Florida State on the first day of the early signing period.

Due to the lack of RB recruits in 2025, Trevor Etienne declaring for the 2025 NFL draft, and Branson Robinson transferring to Georgia State, Walker has a chance to gain significant snaps in Georgia's backfield.

Currently, Nate Frazier should be locked in as the starter and Illinois transfer Josh McCray should be Georgia's top power back, but the running back room is wide open after that. Walker has a good chance to cement himself as another great Georgia back with the last name "Walker".
