Harbor Springs wins championship at final Quiz Bowl tournament of the season

PETOSKEY — Harbor Springs High School collected its third championship during the last Char-Em Quiz Bowl tournament of the season on March 7.
In the morning round robin, the Petoskey A and B teams had identical 4-1 records but were edged out by St. Michael and Harbor Light A. The teams joined Harbor Springs A and B teams in the semifinals, according to a release from Char-Em Quiz Bowl Coordinator Dave Snyder.
Both Harbor Springs teams advanced to the finals, with Harbor Springs A emerging as Grand Champion.
Other schools with winning records throughout the season included Concord Academy, Charlevoix, Boyne City, East Jordan and Ellsworth.
