Rising boxing sensation Moses Itauma was back in action earlier today (Sat., March 28, 2026), as the undefeated (14-0) Heavyweight knockout artist took on Jermaine Franklin inside Co-Op Live in Manchester, England.

Known for finishing his foes early — with 12 of his knockouts coming in under three rounds, eight in the first — it took the heavy-handed Brit a bit longer to take out Franklin (24-3), stopping him in the fifth round thanks to a devastating uppercut that put him out for the count.

Itauma did drop his for in round three but Franklin showed his resilience by bouncing back up, only to get put away for the night two rounds later.

Check out the highlights:

Itauma improves his professional record to 14-0 and his ascension as the most hype big man in the boxing world. As far as what could be next for the young pugilist, he did call for a fight against Filip Hrgovic next, though he is lined up to face Dave Allen.

That said, Itauma is in no rush and is prepped to go back to the drawing board in hopes of locking down another major world title fight down the road. As a result of his violent finish over Franklin he retains his WBA International and WBO Inter-Continental Heavyweight titles and cements himself as the potential future of the division.
