The second annual Coretta Scott King Classic features four teams ranked in the AP Top 25: Ohio State, TCU, Michigan and Vanderbilt. All four will take the floor Monday at the Prudential Center in New Jersey for an afternoon of high-stakes interconference hoops.

Ohio State vs. TCU
Ohio State-TCU stars do-it-all guards Jaloni Cambridge and Olivia Miles.
Cambridge has scored 33, 28 and 41 points over her last three appearances, all of which have resulted in wins for the Buckeyes, and the sophomore has also been stuffing the stat sheet with rebounds and assists. She’s flanked by her sister, Kennedy Cambridge, who’s notching a Big Ten-best 4.1 steals per game.
Miles, a projected top pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, surprised many when she elected to transfer from Notre Dame to the Horned Frogs. A perennial triple-double threat, Miles averages 19 points, 7.3 assists and seven rebounds on 50.6 percent shooting.
It will also be homecoming for Miles, a New Jersey native and attendee of the Blair Academy, which is located about an hour away from the Prudential Center.
Michigan vs. Vanderbilt
In the second matchup, there’s another homecoming for one of the standouts on Vanderbilt, which is enjoying its best start in program history (18-0).
The undefeated Commodores are headlined by sophomore Mikayla Blakes, a New Jersey-born guard who attended Rutgers Prep — roughly 30 miles south of Monday’s festivities. She’s been on a heater for the last few weeks and has averaged 30 points per game in January, dropping 32 in a win over ranked LSU earlier this month.
Michigan is paced in scoring by Olivia Olson (18.1 points per game) but has three more players who are averaging in the double digits: Syla Swords (13.7), Mila Holloway (12.8) and Te’Yala Delfosse (11.5). Both the Wolverines and Commodores put up more than 86 points per game, ranking among the highest-scoring teams in the nation.
The Coretta Scott King Classic enters its second year, with the inaugural event featuring UCLA-Baylor and Maryland-Texas. The showcase honors the late wife of Dr. King. She dedicated her life to being a civil rights leader until her death in 2006.
