How to watch Lions vs. Chargers at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium
Football is back. While the New Orleans Saints won't be playing on Thursday night, all eyes will be on the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio as the NFL kicks off its 2025 preseason. This year it's the Detroit Lions, led by former Saints coach Dan Campbell, competing against the Los Angeles Chargers at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. The late owner of the Saints made an eight-figure donation to renovate the venue which was later dedicated to his memory.
In addition to the game itself, the Hall of Fame will recognize the members of its Class of 2025, who will be formally inducted on Saturday, Aug. 2: cornerback Eric Allen (who spent three years with the Saints and earned a Pro Bowl nod in 1995), defensive end Jared Allen, tight end Antonio Gates, and wide receiver Sterling Sharpe.
